1.循序漸進

“冰凍三尺，非一日之寒”。書面表達能力的培養和提高不是靠一日之功就能實現的，更不是一蹴而就的事情。書面表達能力的提高必須遵循由易到難、由淺入深、循序漸進、步步推進的方式進行訓練。(1)具備扎實的英語基礎知識。要求學生能準確、工整、熟練地書寫出英語的26個字母；對高中常用的動詞、名詞、介詞、連詞、詞組等能記住和熟練運用；對高中學到的語法知識要能熟練地加以運用；注意字母的大小寫和標點符號的正確運用。(2)在記住單詞、詞組、語法的基礎上，要求學生進行組詞造句和由句成段的練習。開始可讓學生寫出簡單的句子，為以后的寫作能力的提高打下堅實的基礎。如讓學生以我的家庭為題目，寫出些簡單的句子。(3)學生掌握了基礎知識后，就可以讓學生寫些復雜點的句子。這些句子可用上各種語態和時態，比如使用到被動語態，使用到一般過去時、一般將來時、現在完成時、過去完成時等。也可使用一些過渡詞，還可以使用各種從句，比如定語從句、名詞性從句、狀語從句等。

2.限時訓練

學生掌握了基礎的寫作知識后就可以對他們進行限時訓練，以增強他們的運用意識和提高他們的寫作能力。限時訓練就是利用一堂課的時間從公布寫作題目，讓學生馬上審題，快速理解題目包含的信息，及時構思篇章結構，限時交卷的一種訓練方式。限時訓練這個環節是學生的寫作能力和應試能力得到提高的關鍵一步，也是學生比較難過的關。在進行限時訓練前，要讓學生明白高考英語的書面表達的寫作不是一般意義上的漢譯英，也不是可任意發揮的作文寫作，而是根據寫作的提示和寫作的要求，將規定的材料內容分析和整理后，展開思維，組織語言，運用英語知識準確表達寫作意圖。在進行限時訓練的初期可適當地把時間延長點，但隨著學生的寫作能力的提高，可把時間縮短，最終讓學生在30分鐘內把作文完成，要讓學生養成快速思維，迅速寫作的習慣，而不是養成拖拖拉拉的習慣。

3.重視范例

英語教師可把高考?？嫉拿恳环N寫作文體都找出二到三篇范文來，讓學生熟讀，直到能夠熟練的背誦。這樣學生在寫作的時候，就會自然而然地把熟記的單詞、句型等應用到寫作中來。在進行限時訓練的時候，教師可和學生一塊寫作短文，在規定的寫作時間結束的時候，可讓學生馬上停下手中的筆，然后教師讀自己寫的范文。學生在聽完范文后，要求學生所寫的文章和教師的范文進行對比，看學生自己的文章那里好，那里差，無論好與差都要求學生找出原因，找出與范文的差距，以便在后來的寫作中得到提高。

4.自改互改

學生在寫完短文后，可進行自我檢查，并把自己認為表達錯誤的地方進行初步改正。自己修改完了，再讓兩個學生一組進行互相改正。在改正的過程中如果有疑問可在文章中標出，改完后兩個學生對錯誤的地方進行談論，真正地解決疑問之處，對于兩個人意見不一致的，或不能解決的地方，可向教師求助。學生得到了滿意的答復，他們的心里自然是很高興的，這樣做不但提高了學生的寫作興趣，更培養和提高了學生的寫作能力。

5.講評及時

學生的寫作完成了，教師要及時地對學生的作文進行講評，只有從學生的寫作中得到及時全面的反饋信息，才能更進一步地明白以后的教學方向。下面的幾點是重要的。(1)在時間緊張的時候，可抽查部分學生的作文，特別是寫作能力差的學生。(2)在評閱的時候，要把學生經常犯的普遍性錯誤和典型性錯誤記錄下來，為以后的寫作教學積累素材。(3)對優秀的作文或進步較大的作文，張貼到后面，讓學生多看，多模仿，以全面提高寫作能力。(4)講評課要做充分的準備，要能使不同水平的學生聽后都有所收獲?？傊?，寫作能力的提高不是一蹴而就的，需要進行長時間的、大量的英語寫作訓練；在平時的英語教學中，要多鼓勵學生背誦和熟讀課文，直到用心記住，寫作的時候好像這些知識就是你自己的。如此，提高高中英語寫作的能力，就是“apieceofcake”。
